Pleated Shades are constructed from a single piece of fabric, carefully pleated into crisp folds that give the end of the shades an accordion-like appearance from either end. We use only 100% polyester fabric, and all of our Pleated Shades are coated with scotch guard for added protection.
At the top of our Pleated Shades is a coordinated headrail which secures the fabric and provides a solid base for the mounting brackets. We also attach a weighted rail to the bottom of our shades in order to provide you with the ability to smoothly and easily raise and lower the shades.
Pleated Shades come with at least two lifting cords, more for our wider shades. Having multiple lifting cords gives you the advantage of even lifting. The cords are hand-threaded through the shades, making these shades as attractive as they are useful! Speaking of useful, we also attach a heavy-duty cord lock at the top of the shade so that you can easily select the right height for your shades. Pleated shades are an economical solution for those who need attractive window coverings at an even more attractive price. However, if you prefer invisible lifting cords and higher amounts of insulation, you might want to consider our Cellular Shades instead.
